Alors voilà, ça c'est moi :
So, this is me :
Je pars donc, dans un mois, découvrir la Russie -et un peu de la Mongolie et de la Chine...
I'm leaving next month, to discover Russia -and a bit of Mongolia & China...
Après la fin de mes études (youpi:), j'ai décidé (avant de devenir sérieuse ? et de travailler) de partir 1 mois à l'aventure, dans ce pays qui m'a toujours fascinée... la Russie !
After the end of my studies (yeepee:), I decided (before becoming serious? and beginning to work), to go for an adventure, during 1 month, in this country that i always found fascinating... Russia !
Le plan: arrivée à Saint-Pétersbourg le 4 Février, visite de la ville puis départ pour Moscou. Après avoir visité Moscou, je monterai dans le transsibérien, destination Pékin, via Oulan-Bator, en Mongolie... puis vol retour Pékin/Paris, le 7 Mars.
The plan is: arrival in St Petersburg on the 4th of February, visit of the city & then departure for Moscow. After visiting Moscow, i'll take the transsiberian, final destination Beijing, via Ulan-Bator, Mongolia... then, flight back home: Beijing/Paris, on the 7th of March.
Je prévoyais à l'origine de partir seule, mais les plans ont évolué. Malgré la suspicion de certains vis-à-vis d'un tel voyage, d'autres se sont laissés tenter et m'accompagneront probablement pour une partie du trajet...
I originally wanted to leave alone, but plans change... although some people were suspicious aboutthis trip, some others were tempted and will probably join me for the adventure.

- URGA, 1991, Nikita Mikhalkov (Никита Сeргеевич Михалков) -The shepherd Gombo lives with his wife, three children and grandmother in a tent on the Mongolian steppe. They are pleased with their rustic conditions, until a Russian truck driver, Serguei, gets stuck with his truck nearby. The cultural gap between Gombo and Serguie seems invincible. But maybe they can learn a few things from each other?

- LE PRISONNIER DU CAUCASE (кавказский пленник, Prisoner of the Caucasus), 2002, Sergei Bodrov (сергей бодров) -Based on 'A Prisoner of the Caucasus' by the noted Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. This film illustrates the conflicting views between traditional Chechen culture and Russian warfare through the skillful use of soundtrack, costuming, and arms. de Saint-Petersbourg a Moscou
salut a tous !
hier, c'etait le grand depart, je suis montee dans le train direction Moscou a 23h15, pour arriver un peu avant 7h ce matin... j'ai donc decouvert les trains russes, couchette en 3e classe, et j'ai ete agrablement surprise... je ne me suis pas encore fait plein d'amis dans le train mais l'ambiance etait bonne et a part quelques personnes qui ronflaient, ambiance tres calme ! c'est assez etonnant comme les russes ont l'habitude du train de nuit, ils sont dans le train comme chez eux, en pyjama avec leur bouffe, leur biere... bien installes !!
evidemment, meme si j'ai passe un bon trajet, l'arrivee a Moscou a ete assez comique, il etait meme pas 7h du matin, j'avais mon gros sac sur le dos et il fallait que je trouve le moyen de prendre le metro et trouver mon auberge de jeunesse ! le metro, pas de probleme, je maitrise, j'ai achete ma carte pour la semaine, c'est cool... bon, un peu usant pour mes petits pieds qui souffrent car les couloirs sont interminables, mais ici les stations sont superbement decorees, ca aide...
ca s'est un peu corse en sortant du metro, pour trouver la rue de mon auberge... meme si c'est une grande avenue celebre, 1) le plan du lonely planet est pourri ya que la moitie des rues indiquees dessus, et 2) on ne croise pas tant de gens aimables dans les rues de Moscou le matin a 7h30... c'est donc seulement apres une bonne petite promenade matinale fort revigorante que j'ai finalement echoue a l'auberge, en face d'une vieille babouchka russe qui ne parlait pas un mot de francais, mais qui m'a gentiment offert plusieurs cafes jusqu'a l'arrivee du 'manager', qui lui, heureusement, parle anglais...
j'ai donc pu -enfin- prendre une douche puis filer au cyber cafe vous raconter un peu mes aventures... donc tout va bien, et le peu que j'ai entrevu de la ville en marchant promet de belles
visites pour les jours a venir, a bientot !!
hello people !!
first approach of the russian trains last night, when i took the train from st petersburg to moscow... i tried the 3rd class -the cheapest one, and the travel was nice and warm. russian people are so used to the night train that they feel like home, as soon as the train leaves the station they just put their pyjamas on, take biers and food out of their bags, have a chat and go to sleep after a while... so the journey was nice, the arrival a bit less... as i arrived in moscow at 7 o'clock this morning, i needed some rest but i had to take the metro and find my hostel, first. the metro was ok, the quest of the hostel not so easy... i arrived there after a big exhausting morning walk...and there was nobody speaking english, of course ! :)
i had to wait at least for an hour and a half before the english-speaking manager's arrival...but the nice old russian lady fed me with a lot of coffee in between, so i was still alive when he arrived and could discuss important things with him, such as where are the toilets ? the shower ? etc. so now i'm all fresh and clean, just ready to discover moscow, which seems awesome, too.
of course i could use a good night sleep and some brand new feet to walk through the city like i did in petersburg, but i have a roof, some friends, and a new city to explore, pretty much the basics !!
